After lurking around the edges for some time, I decided it was time to step up to the plate and join the forum.

I've had my 1966 BJ8 for a little over a year, and am enjoying it immensely. I had a '57 (or '58, depending on the state in which it was registered) MGA hardtop while in college (late 60's), but sold it when it was time to "grow up." After many years of being a grown-up, I was able to do what I wanted - and what I wanted was to drive around with the top down and the wind blowing through my hair (yes, it's still there, just a little grayer).

I fixed a lot of problems in my younger days - and also caused at least as many - so I hope to both contribute and learn from this forum.

Many thanks to Basil for his efforts in developing and managing this operation.
