Greetings All,
In the past have owned a '69, 72 TR6. Restored a TR-250, currently own a '65 TR4 and am rebuilding a '71 Spitfire. Not too many TRs in MT; if found usually in poor shape. I hope to connect with other MT Brit owners. Don Missoula, MT

Welcome, Don - glad to have ya aboard!

Hi There Dan,

"Welcome" to the wonderful world of "LBCs" on the "BCF".

If you don`t find MT. Triumph enthusiasts here; They probably don`t exist!

Introduce yourself to the "Triumph Forum" and I`m certain you will find someone.

Have fun here,

Russ

Welcome to the Forum!

Do they still run SCCA autocrosses in Missoula?
My sister lives in Kalispell.
You might contact Rick Goacher,in Kalispell. He
seemed to know what was going on in that part of
the state.
They also ran the Black Otter Hillclimb in Billings.
I'm not sure if it's still happening. They had one corner
called "TR Corner",due to all of the TR's that went off there!

Dono, driving thru Missoula on our way to Yellowstone this summer I saw a dark (blue, black?) TR4 driving down the road - was that you? I nearly wrecked the family van whipping around to see it go by! It's always great to see enthusiasts DRIVE their cars instead of just show them.

Hey Dono,
New member also, from Whitefish. I've been a member of 6 Pack for about 2 years now... thought I would get involved here too. PM me if you get up my way... maybe we can tour the park.

Welcome to you, Wedge! Nice 6 - and camouflaged perfectly for your neck of the woods.

Now, with your forum name, you got one? TR7 or 8?

Mickey

Oddly enough got that nickname in 1980, but not because of the car. I used to be a concert sound engineer, got the nickname because I was running monitors for Pure Prairie League at the time. Or was it the shape of my head.. Anyways, thanks for the welcome!

Pure Prairie League - MAN! One of my all-time favorites. Heard their album, Bustin' Out long before "Aimee" was a hit.

Don,

There is a club based out of Spokane.
I have the phone number here somewhere of
the contact person. He lives in CDL.

Dono,

Welcome to British Car Forum. You are not alone in Missoula. There are a small group of us LBC'ers here that get together from time to time. Send me a PM and we'll make contact.

JP,
I'm in Whitefish... if you have any events planned or runs coming up let me know. I used to drive down just to get a burrito at Taco del Sol... still a good drive! You guys should plan an event next year if they do another Scottish Highland Games in Msla. They just had one last week but I was out of town. Would be great to combine a LBC show and the games.
Later,
Wedge

Wedge,

As a group so far we have not ventured out of the Missoula Valley. Last summer my wife and I drove up around Flathead to Whitefish, over to Columbia Falls and back down the east side in 100+ degree heat! I've got a friend who is a bag piper and always takes part in the Highland Games. Maybe he can tell me who to contact to plant a seed for your idea. I'll also send you a PM with my contact info if you are ever down this way.
