Hello everyone,

I have visited a time or two for information and discovered a few friends on here from Oklahoma and decided it was time to join. I have owned TR3's, MGA, MGB etc. since highshool and just can not get the British bug out of my system! My wife and I are injoying the countryside every chance we get in our 58 TR3A that we restored in 1989. Hope to make new friends here and offer something as well from time to time.

Cheers!

Welcome!

It's great weather for driving sports cars here in the eastern USA (even if your daily driver is a Miata /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif )

Would like to see pictures of your TR3 (I sold mine in the 60s....wish I hade room for one now!)

Hi There Barney;

I too had a `57 TR3A & am in search of another TR3:

My current toy is a `66 TR4A-IRS:

My Love affair is with a "Series I or II" E-Type Rdstrs: One or Two yrs away:

I`ve had just about All of them with the exception of an Austin Healey 3000:

Have Fun & Welcome Aboard;

Hi Barney and welcome to the forum. Are you related to Jack here in OKC?

Hello Barney from Frederick! My wife and I are right down the road in New Market with our Healeys - if you want a nice drive some weekend take your Trimuph up 15 to the Gettysburg battlefield, it's about 45 minutes away, and if you don't like US 15 there are a lot of back roads you can travel to get there. Are you actually in Frederick, or nearby?

Hello,

Jack is my younger brother. Small world huh? If you are in the sail club there at hefner, you might know John Kuper as well. John and I both went to John Marshall and have been members of the COVTR Triumph club for years.

Hello,

Yes, we are on the SW. side I guess, just North of Buckystown pike and West of 270.

Had the 3 down all winter for brakes, hoses, bearings, seals, the whole deal. Just popped the pinion seal out, what a chore that was... Trying to get it back on the road by next weekend.

Barney

Hi Barney,

I raced on a sailboat with Jack for the last 2 years. Had a great time. He has turned into a pretty hot foredeck hand. We won our fleet championship both years. Looks like I'll be racing John's Soling this year. And I went to Marshall too but a few years before you guys. Yep, small world indeed.
