Just thought I'd say hey to the other members. Longtime fan of Triumphs (rode in a Spitfire when I was 6 and haven't forgotten it). Looking to buy one sooner or later. I currently own a 1998 Triumph Thunderbird Sport motorcycle and have been a longtime owner of Triumph bikes. But I've gotta have that car soon! Anyway, glad I found this site. Thanks. Welcome to the forum, I USED to be a BIG motorcycle fan. As a teenager I had a 650 B.S.A. then a hopped up chopped Norton Commando. I had a lot of fun riding back then! I guess ... No.... what turned me not to favor motorcycles was my little sister and her husband hit a deer, the impact launched her off of the bike {1000 Cc Yahama} head first onto the asphalt resulting in her demise, {death}. Yea I know it wasn`t the motorcycles fault nor was it her husbands, as the deer jumped from the side of the road into thier path resulting in the accident. Never the less. Every sence then I can`t bring myself to ride any motorcycles. Good luck with yours!

I am very sorry to hear that story about your sister. I've thought a lot about that very situation lately and have even given thought to selling the two-wheeler to finance a really nice Triumph car. I suppose I'm not at that point just yet. But this crazy Atlanta traffic might convince me.

In any event, thanks for the warm welcome. Bet that TR-3 of yours is beautiful.

Welcome to the group. I never was into the cycle scene, but always wanted a British Sports Car. I finally took the plunge in May, and soon afterwards found this site. I must say that this group is so helpful, and a great community of friends. Stop by the Triumph Forum as say hello there as well. Hope to see you posting photos a an acquisition soon.
