Hello All,
Been lurking awhile and appreciate all of the wisdom. Started out with a 1971 MG Midget in college and moved on up to adulthood with a 1959 TR3A which I restored in the early 1990's, picked up a 1959 MGA barn find around the same time (both black with red interior) and promptly got sidetracked by "the full happy disaster" of wife and kids. But now with all of that under control am returning to the TR and plan to teach my daughters (13) how to drive in it. Taught my stepson how to drive in the MGA, knowing that your first car is something you never forget. Member Pat Galvin is a buddy.
Warmest Regards,
Mike (Tugboat)

Welcome, Mike - I'm sure you'll enjoy the ride here.

Hey, Mike, Welcome to the asylum!

Be sure to come join us for Triumphest next year, and drag Pat along if you can

You're a braver man than I, letting your teenage daughter drive a TR3! Mine's no longer a teenager and I still don't think she is ready for it (or that the car is ready for her).

Welcome to the Forum! :savewave:

Howdy Mike,

"WELCOME" to "THEE" best LBC Forum anywhere.

Hey; Is that your Blk. TR3 as your Avatar?

Have Fun here as I`m sure you will.

Regards, Russ

Yes, that is her. I think she was originally black on black but I liked the red interior so that is what I installed the first time I restored her in the early 1990's.

WELCOME TO BFC! The best forum on the net. IMO.
