I'm a new member from Tracy, CA and I recently purchased
a 1974 TR6. Looking forward to getting help from some
of the other Triumph owners out there.

Have just about enough experience with mechanics to need
a lot of patience. Not looking to do an off-frame
restore, but I do want the car to look nice, run well
with everything working. Not asking much, am I?

Thanks, Kerry. It took me over a week to get back to here.
Still learning my way around, plus working on the car.

So much to do. I'm excited and want to get to that place
where it looks acceptably well and runs good, then just
drive it.

Also, I like your quote, as I've read a few of your comments.

No, I haven't considered a set of SU's. Errr, forgive
me, but I might not recognize an SU if one was sitting
next to me...

But I have a hunch, since you broached the subject, that
it would be good to know what an SU is.

Please tell me more. Will it really make my car sing?

Welcome from Escalon (just down 120). I think you will find a lot of help here on the forum. We have a lot of local expertese here in the valley also (you just need to know where to look).
