Hello,

I'm very happy to find this forum. I'm a long time TR3A owner. This has been a dormant hobby for many years but I have blown the dust off this baby recently. Now, with the help of TRF and this forum, I have hope that I can find the satisfaction that eluded me years ago when both good parts and good information were impossible to find.

Now that I'm hooked up I plan on spending a lot of time with that search button trying to find answers to all my questions and solutions to all the little problems. Thank you so much!

Jim

P.S. I wanted to attach a pic but ran into the 100K limit and my camera cannot take pictures that small apparently. Sorry.

Hi Jim,

There are several ways around that problem; unfortunately none of them are exactly simple. Probably the most straightforward (IMO) is to set up an account for yourself on PhotoBucket https://photobucket.com or one of the other photo-sharing sites, upload your pictures there and then post links to them here. PB is free, you just have to answer some nosy questions and ignore the ads they throw at you

Once you've got your photos up there, let your mouse 'hover' over a thumbnail and you'll get a little pop-up window with some sharing choices. Click on the one that says "IMG Code"
GetIMGcode.jpg

Then in your BCF post, you can press Ctrl-V to copy the magic code into your post. It will initially look somewhat like this:
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Code:</div><div class="ubbcode-body ubbcode-pre" ><pre>
DSCF0029_crop.jpg
</pre>[/QUOTE]
but then after you click 'Submit' you (and others) will just see the photo

Welcome to the pack. Not too much going on with LBCs in our neighborhood. Nice to have you around.

Hi There Jim,

"WELCOME" to the BCF. Introduce yourself & your TR3 to the Triumph Section & fire away with any questions you may have in your resurrection of your car. There are quite a few members there from up North.

"RANDALL": Question: Where the return springs fit into the pedals on the clutch & brake levers; Is that a "THRU HOLE" in there? Mine seems to be plugged. Perhaps all I need to do is stick something sharp thru there but I`m just not sure.

Thanx and Regards,

Russ

Yup, just a plain hole through the lever. Not very elegant, but seems to work out well.

Hi Jim, and welcome to the Forum! :savewave:
