Well, I succumbed to the sickness (again). I picked up a well used '72 TR6 locally, and have started down the road to fiscal irresponsibility. I had an MGB a number of years back, so I knew
what I was getting into. I have already gotten needed information here, I look forward to learning more about these cars and how they work!

Welcome to the BCF, Lee! You will find we have a very active and engaging group in our Triumph forum (but if you've been lurking a while you probably already know that).

PS: I graduated from HS in Aurora and, up until a couple years ago, when I retired, I used to work (as a contractor) quite a lot out at Schriever AFB.

Any way - glad to have you aboard!

Basil

Thanks, Basil. I have visited Schriever a number of times - you'll be happy to know the mantraps are gone, but what's there isn't a lot better! We travel through Albuquerque a couple of times a year on our way to Taos, I'll look you up sometime.

By man traps I assume you mean the "Portals?" Got stuck in there once when the system malfunctioned. Started getting claustrophobic. If you do get to Albuquerque for sure let me know.

Hi, and welcome!
