My fascination with LBC's began during high school with a MGTD and while in collage I traded for a 1960 TR3A. Before graduration the TR was traded for a wife and the next forty years are a blur. Along the way though, I did become interested in first gen Firebirds and presently own two. Soon after retiring in 2005 and on a lark, I went to look at a TR3 for sale locally. To make a long story short, after a couple of of negotiations the solid and complete Triumph followed me home, on a trailer of course. The car was so nice that it had to be completely restored. I've downloaded literally thousabds of TR3 pictures, followed many forums, and met some great LBC people over the past several years. Virtually every detail question I had during the restoration was answered by perusing mainly this forum and following the sage advice of Mark Macy, TRA technical director.
