Hi Guys (I assume most of you are guys, but if there are a few girls....that is marvelous)

Just found this site and registered, I'm a retired RCMP member living just outside Fredericton N.B. on Canada's east coast. I have a 53 MGTD that I restored completely myself, and a 1970 etype 2+2 that is at the paint and start to reassemble stage. I was born in England so I come by this hobby by genetics. My father was drafted into the RAF in 1950 and one of his barrack mates had a TD.

Looking forward to interacting with you all.

Hi Joe;
Welcome from another Canadian, (Ontario just north of Long Point)
My wife comes from Truro N.S. so we travel your way every so often.
Enjoy this place, lots of knowledge and camaraderie.

Dave :cheers:

Welcome Joe:
Nice to see Canada and now our East coast well represented on the BCF. Sounds like you have two very nice cars so let's now see the pics.

Thanks to all....I'll try and figure out how to post some photo's in the mean time, this is a link to our local Brit car club blogg, if you scroll down enough you will see some photo's of my Jag. If you look around you will find some of the TD.

Bob, I was stationed in Nfld. for 10 years, Botwood, St. John's and Baie Verte 74 - Dec 83.

Howdy Joe,

"Welcome" from the Foothills of SC. How`s the ride been here so far? I`m sure you`ll enjoy the journey thru the BCF.

Welcome Joe:

With a name like "rv4flyer", I have to guess you're an aviation guy too. Lots of us flyers here.

I'm also born in the UK and lived in Canada during my youth (I'm now in the eastern USA).

Great to have you aboard!

Nial....yeah, I officially have too many hobbies. Hard to support them all on a pension but I'll try. I have an Vans RV4 that I finished about 12 years ago. Still love to fly so can't give it up yet.
