This is my first posting on the British Car Forum. I have owned a big Healey continually since 1967. Forty years of experience in setting up, maintaining, and managing to nurse one home.
My favorites are the BJ7's. I like the convertible top and roll up windows, and really prefer the old interior layout. It is much roomier and seems more in place in the vehicle. This along with the top shifter makes for a very enjoyable ride.
In addition to 6 Big Healeys I have had other British cars including a Mk III Spitfire, an early Stag and an early TR7. My first Jaguar was a new Series 3 XJ6 (one of the best cars I ever owned, put 65,000 trouble free miles on it in two years). My current vehicles include a BN4, a Series 2 E-Type 2 seat coupe, a 99 XK8 convertible I have owned since new and a 68 Norton Atlas 750.
If anyone comes across an "odd" Healey problem, feel free to contact me.
Does anyone know of any aftermarket Healey frames?
