Hello from a first time poster (and not that long a lurker). My son and I are restoring/updating a '73 MGB. At this point we've stripped the body and we're shopping for a body shop. Then we'll do the mechanical stuff and put it all together later.

For the engine, we're going to put MegaSquirt fuel injection on it with a crossflow head (gets us past the siamese ports problem). If the budget permits we'll put independent rear suspension on too.

Thanks for the ideas so far and we'll keep posting (I promise).

WOW! Great ideas - welcome & keep us posted...

Welcome Ben, from another NJ-person.

Please keep us informed about the MegaSquirt...many of us are keen on this type of mod, if it's practical.

And if you're looking for any MGB stuff, send me a note....I have another NJ pal who has lots of used stuff for these cars.
