New Lotus Seven kit car - Stalker V6

Anyone heard of this kit before?

Talked to the Canadian importer today - he works out of Calgary. Apparently it was designed in the States (Florida?)

I talked to the guy a bit, he said the Stalker was designed around the spirit of the Lotus Seven but with a brand-new chassis all it's own. The chassis is a lot stronger compared to an original Lotus Seven chassis.

They use a GM 2.8 V6. The chassis/frame is designed to distribute weight throughout the car to give it the strength it has.

The bodyshell is basically Lotus Seven like. A cclamshell hood similar to a Seven S4, and small bicycle fenders like an early Seven.

Anyway, enough talking... I probably didn't even do the car justice anyway. Here's the website for the Canadian distributer, I'm sure a google would come up with the American company doing it.

I have contacted the manufacturer. I have the parts list and pricing. Seems $12-15k gets you a really nice Stalker.

Of course there is an original 7 for $14.5k up by me.

The V6 does sound like fun.

I assume that you're thinking of adding another car to your stable again... Would you build it yourself or buy it already built?

Build it! I have the basic problem everyone else does right now. Need more garage space and an extra $15k laying around.

The kit looks pretty simple and the GM parts are very easy to get. A real 7 is not so easy to get.

Still in the dream phase of the master plan...
