Welcome to the forum,

pics of the Falcon as well

Chris,

Cool. I have a pair of them. One under restoration, the other awaiting it. They are fun little cars. If you're not aware, here's some good sites for JH's....

www.jensenhealey.com - Information
www.jhps.com - Parts
www.deltamotorsports.com - Parts
www.britishsteel.org - Information

Also, I'm dredging my memory a bit here, but I think there's a couple other JH's in your neck of the woods.

Hi, Chris, and welcome to the Forum!

hey respective ones!, how do i post some pic's i have a few of the falcon and will take some of the healey right away please help, your new friend and car lover !

Chris,

You got lucky then.

Jim Medland at Delta should have the oil cooler & radiator. They have an oversized oil cooler which I'd personally recommend.

I'd also recommend doing the following things before you get too far with the car:

-Cam cover gaskets (get the rubber ones)
-Timing belt
-Plug wires (the 8mm magnecore's are sweet)
-Flamethrower coil
-Hella headlights (no more sealed beam junk)
-Pertronix distributor

And some things to look for:
-Wiring (this harness is infamous for shorts)
-Light switch condition
-Rust (floorboards)
-Rust/fuel leaks - the fuel tank sits on absorbent material, can be pretty icky.
-Fuel sender (notoriously inaccurate)
-Oil leaks on the cam towers
-Steering assembly - tends to wear out.
-Stromberg carbs may need a rebuild
-Sway bars (if it doesn't have them) are a good addition.

Also, the Parts Catalog, Service Manual, and factory service bulletins are available from ww.jhps.com. I'm in the process of building out a parts catalog database on my site (see the sig below).

Have fun!
