WEll, see - great minds...oh, by the way, my timber frame & log house was designed & constructed by them!
 
I've watched a couple log homes being built... and I've always liked the way they are done.... Seems like the're always built with a little more Umph (in more areas than you can imagine) than most normal 2x lumber homes are made (which I've seen more than my share of builds on).
 
Smalest piece of wood in my house is 6"x6"!
