Making out of high strength, high pressure aircraft tubing, they are coming along very well. I cant make up and fit the back lines until I get the tub back on the chassis. I'm using a duel through the fire wall fitting from a Triumph. Don't mind the clamps, I'll get the proper wire clamps to match the others. Here's a couple photos. PJ

Thanks Doc & Will. I was going to make them out of copper and while cleaning up the shop a couple days ago I found a bunch of the aluminum tubing. Remembering we used to bend that stuff back in ancient times, I figured what the heck maybe I'll remember. After ruining one piece, it came back to me how to bend it and the end result came out fairly well. I might/will make another as this one is about one inch too short on the long side which puts the line a little to close to the front carb bowl. Don't need any extra heat on it! PJ
 
Hot fuel will increase your mpg. The weight savings of aluminum vs copper will offset any performance losses of not using cold air. :encouragement: lol please take that with the pinch of salt it was implied with. The aluminum looks more natural against those colors.
 
Well, believe it or not, I wasn't too happy with it, as the line came too close to the carb bowl. Solution, I made up another 1 inch longer and put a dog leg in it. It now is further away and less chance of heat transfer. PJ
