Hi all,

I want to say Hi to all folks here
Been lurking on this site for a few weeks ,and made me a member about a week ago
I 'm in to British cars for 15 years (only MG's) but the Healey was and is my favorit for 20 years
This is the Healey that I've bought 2 weeks ago (Austin Healey BT7 MKII)
It is a nice car that needs a few minor adjustments
The car was last driven in Canada
I contacted the last owner
He was the owner for about 30 years

Regards Raf

Very fine looking machine there, Raf! Have fun with it, and welcome to the Forum.

Welcome, very nice car.
Since a few months several Belgian Healey owners have joined the Dutch AHOCN

Hi BigGreen
Planning to do that , but maybe next year
I was at the "onderdelendag"a few weeks ago, to have the first expierence with the Dutch club.
I do not know if there is a Belgian A-H club?
regards
Raf

Welcome, I am also an owner of a Mark II BT7, as a matter of fact I bought mine from a guy in Canada as well. I joined the BCF about four years ago and I can't say enough about this group, they have helped me out of more than one jamb.

Cheers

Jeff

Very nice car. Do the "few minor adjustments" include reversing the fender spears?

Both tops are especially nice!

I do not see nuthin wrong with your car, Sept you seem to have them expensive Talbot Bullet mirrors on the wings. Welcome aboard.:encouragement:

Hi guys
Thanks for all the nice comments
TimK . I will change the chrome wings on the fenders
Steveg No it is not a Nardi steering wheel , its" a LL marking on it (Les Leston??????)
I"ve got a question regarding fuel pipes and carburetors , but Ill start a new thread

i have a wheel like yours on my BJ8 with the LL--yes, that would be a Les Leston. Mine is in very poor condition with some cracking, and I will be replacing it with a Derrington style wheel.

Mike Lempert does restoration of LL's and has some for sale: https://www.pbase.com/mdlempert/les Or maybe you could work out a trade towards one of his Derringtons.

How can you be a NEW Healey owner, if they dont build them anymore???? Anyway nice looking set of wheels you got there.

Yep, Mike did the Derrington for my Sprite. I picked it up from his shop last year during our annual trip to Hilton Head Island. It was fun seeing his shop. The Les Leston on my car was put on it early (certainly within the first ten years), but it is a mess--it got modified to fit a boss that is not right, and it has a lot of cracks. I prefer the Derrington style anyway. I'll keep it for historic purposes but replace it with another Derrington from Mike.
