The November Healey Marque is rather "Spritely". Great article by John Sprinzel about the 2006 Goodwood Revival featuring the restored version of his former PMO200 Sprite that was driven by Sterling Moss in 1961. Lots of good photos of Speedwell GTs and such.

There is also an article about a BE with a boot lid that the author believe is factory original. This car, located in Madison Heights, VA was listed on ebay several months ago but was unsold. I believe that the owner was asking a minimum of $3000 for a car that other than the uniqueness of the boot lid was worth a max of $1000. Lots of rust. I tried several times to communicate with the owner at the time but he was unresponsive. Could have been interested if the price was reasonable but I've moved on to other projects. Car still sits in Virginia in the weather exposed. A shame.

I have seen a restored Frog with a boot-lid (online) that was supposed to be stock as well. I forget the link, but I posted it here over a year ago.
To see a video of a Speedwell Sprite (formerly owned/driven by Graham Hill), go to the link below. I took this video last month at Summit Point. The car is all-original except for a 1275 engine.

SWEET!!! What great video. Also enjoyed the clip from the 1967 German Grand Prix at Nurburgring. I was at Nurburgring two years later in 1969 for the Grand Prix. The video brought back some good memories

Watching the Elans, I'm kinda puzzled: Why's the guy in front just DRIVIN' it around the course?!?! The camera car takes a better line! After the pass it got a LOT better.... then I saw the credits. mehheh. "slower" & "faster"

Nial! You passed what appears to be a F-Junior Lotus 18?!?! YAY!!! He was th' same guy as drove the "slower" Elan at th' 'Ring I'll bet. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
