New forumite here. I just two weeks ago finished a five year project rebuilding a '71 Triumph T100R Motorcycle [See the story here: https://bullfire.net/Triumph/TOC.html]

I also retired two weeks ago, and decided I need a new, bigger challenge. I went out to the garage, and what did I see but this:

I'm gonna need a little help!

Ed - welcome to BCF and congrats on the retirement! I did the same thing when I retired - decided to get something to tinker around on. MGB, TR3, Mercedes-Benz.

You'll find lots of TR6 advice here, that's for sure. Say, what's that "tinker's delight" on the right side of the photo - an MGA?

Tom

You've got a good eye, Tom. Yes, that's a '57 MGA. It's waiting in line behind the TR6.

Hi Ed, welcome to the BCF! That motorcycle restoration looks wonderful, congrats! I hope that you're not planning on using that basement workshop to restore the TR6! A wee bit more difficult to get that up the stairs..... ;-)

Hmmm, yes, Steve, I see your point. I think for now, I'll just take the engine down there and sort the rest out later.
