Hello All,
I try to get up to Watkins Glen every year for the Vintage Races and every year I get the urge to buy a project. This year I finally bought a 59 TR3A. (In about a thousand pieces)I've been looking around the Internet for information and this is the busiest and most informative site I've found. This car is going to be quite a challenge and I'm looking forward to learning everything I can.

Welcome aboard "J". You will find lots of help in our Triumph forum! And it sounds like your into racing, so be sure to check out our racing forum too!

Hi "J"

nice project...have a TR3 project in waiting..

You have found a great site here....

Give me a holler if you need help..I'm in W-B. not that far away

Howdy "J",

"Welcome" to the Club. Indeed; You have found "THEE" most informative website on the net.

I too started the "Teardown" process on my `57TR3 Small Mouth. Those fender bolts could be a bear! Stock up on alot of "PB BLASTER"!!

I was wondering where "Hunlock Creed, PA" was. I`m from the "Effort, PA" area (Pocono Raceway area). Sure am glad I moved South but Its cold here as well. This weather must be what they call "Global Warming"!?!?!?!?

Introduce Yourself and Your TR to the nice folks on the "Triumph" Forum & show a pic or two of your car. We "LOVE" pics here!!

Best Wishes,

Russ

Good project, J....the Triumph guys can guide you along to success....glad to have you with us.

Welcome, John!

If you're interested in seeing east coast vintage races at various circuits (including Watkins Glen), don't forget that ~VRG~ also runs some good events.

I've been to the VRG event at The Glen three times.

Also, just for kicks, check out what I'm next to in ~This Video~ (starting at about the 40 second mark).

Welcome aboard, J! You'll have plenty of support here and for some odd reason there are a lot of those TRactors in and around your stompin' grounds! There are fellas over inna Triumph Forum with 'em who are within a rock throw of ya... a couple* of 'em even appear t'know what they're doin'!

*That wuz ABSOLUTELY meant in jest, some of the best prepped examples around are owned by *ahem* some fellas in your region.

Welcome to the Forum! :savewave:
