Hi All- been following the site for many years. I've also been restoring cars for 35+ years. I've been on and off again about this 59 TR3a.

I have a delimma at the moment. I've had this TR3a that is in need of a restoration for almost 15 years. Every time I start working on it, something else comes my way and I push it to the corner of my garage. It has what appears to be a great frame, great fenders, doors and other important stuff. Its a complete car, but I have some stuff got disassembled and fenders aqua blasted and metal looks great. Got lots of new sheet metal as well from Moss about 10 years ago, floors, rockers, dog-leg quarters. Engine and tranny was rebuilt by the previous owner and I had it running about 15 years ago!

So I'm lurking here, studying and trying to decide if I'm going to restore it or sell it. I have my eyes on a mid 60's XKE that may be my next project.

Love the forum, and I may post it in a classified section. I'm in the middle of a Porsche project now that will take another 6 months to finish- don't know what will be next.

DV - welcome to BCF. I'm the proud owner of a 1959 TR3 myself, which runs great (altho' isn't exactly the model of perfection!).

We're here to answer questions, so post away in the Triumph and Jaguar forums.

And if you decide you want to donate an XKE project to a lonely driveway in eastern Connecticut, just let me know :jester:
