Hi All- been following the site for many years. I've also been restoring cars for 35+ years. I've been on and off again about this 59 TR3a.
I have a delimma at the moment. I've had this TR3a that is in need of a restoration for almost 15 years. Every time I start working on it, something else comes my way and I push it to the corner of my garage. It has what appears to be a great frame, great fenders, doors and other important stuff. Its a complete car, but I have some stuff got disassembled and fenders aqua blasted and metal looks great. Got lots of new sheet metal as well from Moss about 10 years ago, floors, rockers, dog-leg quarters. Engine and tranny was rebuilt by the previous owner and I had it running about 15 years ago!
So I'm lurking here, studying and trying to decide if I'm going to restore it or sell it. I have my eyes on a mid 60's XKE that may be my next project.
Love the forum, and I may post it in a classified section. I'm in the middle of a Porsche project now that will take another 6 months to finish- don't know what will be next.
