Thought it about time I introduced myself. Moved to Canada from Uk 6 years ago, have lived in Ontario, Alberta twice and BC. Spent most of my life restoring British classics, both in the UK and here at various shops. About to start a MGRV8 style conversion for a customer using a set of panels I have and running a Ford 302.

Another of my projects is my Lotus7 V8, I started it about 18 months ago. Wide body for lardarses such as myself. 1.25” main frame tubes. She runs a 300bhp Mustang 5.0L, T5 tranny and 8.8 back axle. Front uprights are Miata. Chevette rack which is a little slow. No real problems with the build. Made all the panels from fiberglass. Goes well!

GavinR...WELCOME..looking forward to your posts...

Hi Gavin...

I've met him before and he really is a great guy... Although all his moves of the last three years are making me dizzy, last I recall (two years ago?) he had moved to Vancouver, and I first met him in Ontario about five years ago perhaps? when he lived there... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Looks like a fun Lotus Seven you're building for yourself, it looks to be quite fast

Hey Gavin,

I don't go to Edmonton much, I really don't know anyone up there and of course there is that Calgary - Edmonton rivalry that I'm sure you know about /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

I was there back in June for the British show, did you attend that one?
