Anyone planning on attending, it's in Hampton, NH, 5 miles from MA border.

I'll be there in the beast (Land Cruiser)

I might be able to make it, but no TR6. What's going on? I didn't even know about it.

EDIT from the IDIOT!

I did get an email about the meeting and forgot to mark it down. My bad!! Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Paul:

Planning meeting & annual start up meeting, I can give you more details, directions if you are interested. I am going to try & get more involved in some local clubs this year. I may be driving my 250 daily to the train as my wife may sell her Volvo & share my Landcruiser & daughter's car till she goes off to college in the fall.

I used to live in Vermont. Isn't it a bit cold, snowy and salty yet for a TR Club meeting?

Gary:

I know exactly where it is. I've had lunch there many times. I'll be at the Cape Cod British Car Club's Winterfest party on Saturday night over on Forestdale, MA, so I may have to pass on Sunday's meeting, since I'll be driving another 250 miles on Monday again. Sometimes I feel like I never leave my car. Not the TR6, but the Ford 500.

I'll see how ambitious I am Sunday morning.

I was in Hampton, NH last Sunday (surfing at Jeness beach, about 3 miles north of North Hampton). Didn't see any TRs on the road at all. Actually, I haven't seen one TR on the road since maybe October. I'm still driving my 6 almost daily. Not much snow this year, though plenty of salt lately, but the car is made for commuting - not sitting in the garage.

Vin,

Glad to see that you enjoy yours in a way that most of don't get to do. I commute 300-400 miles three days a week, in my car as part of my job and I can assure you, even in the best of weather, my TR6 was not made to do that. The key word here is "MY TR6", not yours.

Besides, I just don't like driving it in the salt. It would make my nice black oil leak stains under the car look all sloppy and white.

Happy motoring!!!
