Just wanted to let everyone know our club's Annual "Beat the Winter Doldrums" party (formerly Christmas party) is scheduled for January 14, 2006 7:00pm

We know many people have work and family holiday parties in December. We figured we would hold it after the holidays.

Here in the Northeast (Boston Area), most LBC owners get a bit ansy about not driving their cars all winter..I know I do..so at least come meet everyone you see all summer at the car shows in the winter! It is kind of a car-less car show We will have games and maybe a cash raffle!

Information is on the following page: Party signup page

Party is open to everyone, not just club members..so come on down!

Since it is the start of a new year...Be the perfect time to see all your friends... Take the time to renew your membership in the club (or signup as a new member!) All memberships for 2006 include an annual subscription to the British Marque !! 2006 Boston Area MG Club signup form

Can "'rumphies" come?
Seriously, that's a little too far for us, but I hope it's a bash! Of course we'll require pics if anything really fun goes on.
And it's be intresting to get a tally of how many BCF members show up.

You a 'rumfie Ben??? You're always in the MG forum. Wanna borrow Emma?

I believe 'rumphs fall into the British car catagory.

Re: New England area owners - !!! British Car Part

Ben,
I'm going so that is at least two. We'll see if it's warm enough to drive that day.

Well I'm a "rumphy by default of ownership, but I seem to have the attitude that surrounds the MG crowd. I've owned an MGB ( my first drivable LBC) and I do a lot of work on my dads 69 "B". So I'm kind of an omnivore. Taking in anything british.

You do seem more like a gee'r than a rumfie.

Heya Ben, have I mentioned lately...I'M EXCITED?

I'll tell ya. If the sale goes through on the TR4, even though I'll hate to see it go, I'll be doin the "happy happy joy joy" dance all the way to the phone to place my first Moss order for the TR2...
I've been in a slump waiting to be able to get started on it.

I've ordered good weather for next Saturday...so it should be great!

It is just a social event. It is not a car show, so you dont need to take your LBC (you can..just dont have to). So bring your friends and family..

Bring some of your favorite pictures and stories to share. Food is great as always...

Paul
