This should almost go under "Other British", but the new version of the ELVA isn't really a Brit car anymore.

The nose is a dead ringer for the Lotus (which Mazda copied for the Miata). Could someone do a side-by-side comparison post of the Elva, Miata,&Lotus?

Not quite the same thing, but here's my Miata next to a friend's Elan. The Miata seems *huge* after driving the Elan!

Hey, I have a Gemini! I am sure there is no historic link to the current production. I bought this one in the late 60's as pretty much a derelict. It is powered with an 1600 Alfa, the body is aluminum, the chassis is two major tubes, the front and rear suspensions are independent with upper transverse leaf spring with bottom A arms. The rear end is ENV. The chassis is pretty much Cooper. The wheels are like the ones I have seen on coopers, the steel brake drum is pressed into the mag wheel. It currently uses Datsun drums and TR4 wheels fitted with Formula V tires. There are no ID plates on the car. The original engine was a cracked Alfa 1300, 750 series. The title says it is a 1956 Gemini 2dr. I licensed and drove it on the roads for several years, nothing but cop bait. I used it extessively for autocrossing for many years even took top time at a state wide meet years ago, remember this is Montana. The car needs resoration again, the body has stress cracks which need welding. Pictures can be seen at:
