New ebay scam attempt I haven't seen

Look at the high bidder on each of these cars. Do you see an unusual pattern here. What do you guys think? There are more on other cars also. What happened to the bidder1, 2, 3, etc.?

there can't be that many (Letter)***(letter) ebay user names bidding on Triumphs all at once.

I think this may be what's going on:

"eBay has changed how bid history information is displayed for higher-priced items. To help keep the eBay community safe, enhance bidder privacy, and protect our members from fraudulent emails, only you and the seller of the item can view your User ID in bid history. Other member will see anonymous names."

Yes, these "nonsensical" IDs seem to have replaced "bidder1," "bidder2," etc. on high-ticket items!?

Ok you guys must be right, all of the listings have this. Shoot, I thought for a minute I had come across something more sinister like the Bolivian mafia trying to invade Ebay.
( no offence to Bolivian Triumph owners intended ).

I thought it hid the bidders while actual bidding is in progress but when the item is sold the actual final bidder ID who WINS is displayed? who knows ever changing...

nope just checked your right stays hidden..guess I must just be thinking when I was selling...
