New Door Window Seals Question

I just installed new door outside window scraper seals. When I roll the window down the seal curls in as the window goes down. Adjustment of the window rails makes no difference. After thinking about this a bit my thoughts are the new rubber is not made correctly? a little too soft, should maybe be a little more stiff? Just like the rest of the garbage rubber products that are on the market for our cars today. Any ideas?

OK, Update. I tried some Talc on the seal and window which originally did not help matters. I left the window partially up with seal in correct position for a few hours, now it's working good. Not sure if it was the talc or sun but I feel much better. Although I still think todays rubber parts are very poor quallity.
