The latest Lightroom Classic update introduces some cool new features (much more control over selecting people, they faces only, eyes only, clothes etc for masking, but more importantly, they have a new noise reduction (AI) process that is pretty cool. Here are two versions of as photo I took at last year's Balloon Fiesta. The first is without noise reduction applied. As you can seem this picture was shot in the dark so there is a lot of noise (ISO = 10000). The second version is the same image with Lightrooms AI Denoise applied. (Note these images were scaled down quite about to allow upload here)
Look at the noise in the dark areas - sky, etc.
This is after AI Denoise applied. By the way, this is the first time using this so have not had a chance to play with the parameters much yet.
