Apparently, they still have a stash of those V6 engines, plus other parts, so they're planning on building some "new" DeLoreans.

And, they're very easy to drive. They just follow the white line.

One would hope that they would have learned by now and stay away from that D**n Troika V-6. It was not a very good motor.

If the plan is to build them as recently manufactured, old year model vehicles (a-la Carroll Shelby and his new “65” Cobras) to avoid all the current production regulations they’ll need to use original NOS motors.

The automatic versions were so anemic that I would have to get a running start when loading them onto my transport rig...I used to buy and transport DeLoreans for my customer in Detroit.

John D. shoulda quit after the GTO and gone out on a high note...

When I am legal drinking age, I will buy a beer for ANY journalist who can write an article about the DeLorean without using the words "flux capacitor." The car was in a movie, we get it. The joke isn't funny anymore.
