I'm Rick - new member from DC. Came across the forum a week or so ago while looking for a solution to a hood latch issue I was having with the newest addition - a '66 Healey BJ8 we purchased in September. I'm a long time aficionado/owner, however. Just sold on BAT a black dash '64 Sunbeam Tiger that I had owned for almost 30 years, first 10+ of which was as my daily driver, last 15+ of which was as a driveway ornament. Learned how to drive in my dad's '73 TR6 and had helped him work on and keep his menagerie running while I was living at home - which over the years included everything from a V12 XKE to a Hillman Minx - before heading off to college and moving to the East Coast. I'm hoping my participation is more as a lurker and occasional commentator than as a consumer of technical advice, but as the Healey is currently my only car and I try to drive it most days it's not raining we'll see how long it is before I'm back looking to find solutions to one or more problems.
