Went to Georgia today and picked up this rust bucket, no floors cause it sat in the weather uncovered I imagine, not sure what I am going to do with it, I guesss I could put all the old parts I am replacing on wifes bug eye and make a complete car.

Really neat guy, had a Bugeye almost completed in garage. That is what I like about this hobby, all the different people you meet and different places you go in search of parts.

I found this car by accident, I was looking on craigslist for a midget to replace my $500.00 midget and he has a midget for sell (body) and I was looking in the background and saw the bugeye bonnet. He wanted the whole car gone so I have another bugeye

one problem, my house with seperate shop sits on .66 acre. with apond in rear and .25 pond in front. I sitting here trying to figure out a way to build envelopes out of wood to slide the projects in so I can stack them 3 or 4 high. just haven't figured out a way to pick the Bugeyes up to slid them in the envelopes

NO problem. Build a set of connected ramps as high as the envelopes that rock over to a stable, level possision once the car is up it. It should level out as high as the envelopes. One sitting level on it's platform bottom, drive/ push the car forward into the envelope. Move it to the next envelope then push the drive on end of the ramps back down to the floor and load the next car.

A muffler guy had a trailer that was 6' high that did this. It pivoted on the wheels when a car was driven up so far then came to rest on the tongue jack. He'd then stand under the car and do the repair work. He would then slowly back the car off till the trailer pivoted back and the ramps touched the ground. it worked really well.
 
I pick my Bugeye up with a Harbor Freight engine crane. Can be lifted, rotated and moved around. I use cargo straps. But be careful and get it balanced.

A friend sold his Rolls to a guy in Northern Quebec - has 400 cars. My friend counted 7 or 8 Lambos and 2 Deusies. He (my friend) described this guy's Jag storage as being like a wine rack - 3 up and 7 across. And it wasn't only the Jags stored that way.

I don't know how to draw w/ the 'puter. But I'll do up somethin' and mail it to ya. You'll really like it. I had autocad years ago, but even if I did now, I wouldn't remember how to use it.
 
All you ned is soemthing like the above pictured trailer, only higher with the deck extended more rearward and maybe a shorter tongue. ( no tongue)

can you picture what I'm saying?
 
I have decided I only have enough room for a double stack, I am thinking of putting the bugeye shells on top and rolling project on bottom. I think with two people I can lift rear on to shelf, then maybe wrench up front and slid into shelf. need to figure out some sort of plastic/PCV rollers (pipe) so I can slide car in and out on wood shelf
 
If you can find a used warehouse equipment salvage center somewhere near you, see if you can get a few lengths of the wide metal roller "tracks"...the kind they use to move boxes, etc around in warehouses. That would make it easy to move the body shells in and out.
