Hello to the group. In August 2022 my son-in-law partnered on the purchase of a 1967 AH 3000. The car is currently fully disassembled and we are in the process of replacing the sills and repairing floors. Beside the sills, the frame/chassis is sound. Our objective is to end up with an excellent driver that will have another 60+ years of (rust-free) life. We drove the car for 2-3 months before disassembling - the drivetrain appearing to be very sound. We plan to do most of the work ourselves and find that this and other forums are extremely useful in understanding the intricacies of these somewhat complicated cars. I had a couple of TR-4's back in the 70's and they were much easier to work on. Thanks in advance for all of the help.

Great project for a father and son. Figure out how to do a search for information on this site and ask questions. You have an advantage in that you drove the car for a few months prior to starting. All my Healey projects were already taken apart by someone else so I had to assume everything had to be renewed.
