New addition to the family [Baby, not spridget]

Hey guys,

Well, as some of you may know (from the "Spridget Wheels" thread) my wife and I had our first child this week (and just in time for Mother's Day!)

Our baby girl was born May 4th at 6:35 AM. Her name is Saoirse (pronounced Sair-sha, it's Irish). She's pretty darn cute and awesome. I've never been a guy who was much into babies but she pretty much won me over instantly!

That is one good lookin' baby. Congratulations.

Kids are a lot easier and less expensive than Spridgets, but still pretty fun.

! I beg to differ, but, since it's too late anyway

Seriously, what a wonderful child - blessings and joy and Happy First Mother's day to Mom. You are a blessed man.

+1

Ahhh... - she looks just like you too! Only way prettier!!!

Congrats, she's a keeper!

Congratulations!

Congratulations!

Today we had our sons getting mom's car ready for next week's car show. As we watched them work we marveled at how much they'd grown since those first mother's days. Enjoy your little one. She will add much joy to the years that are coming.

She sure is cute- I'm jealous! I love kids.
She will confuse your life and destroy many of your plans but it will be worth every bit!
Enjoy and try to get some sleep (and your wife too!!)

Either that's very dry humor or is advice coming from a childless one. In any case, congratulations. There goes the spridget parts fund (and spare time to work on the car fund)!

Do I detect a Spridget SUV in your future?!
Many congrats.....she's a cutie!!

Re: New addition to the family [Baby, not spridget

Thanks everybody. It's more amazing than I ever imagined it could be.

Morris- I love that picture. I spent many days helping my dad fix my mom's Midget. My dad didn't get the first one for my mom until I was probably 8-10 years old but we've had them ever since.

Congrats! I've been having too much fun with my boys lately which have put the BE on hold.

True, this is why the UglyBug is still waiting its bodywork/paint. I have two little girls and I stay pretty busy having adventures with them.
