Spitfire New Acquisition - '72 Spit

Our Triumph stable is growing. I have agreed to purchase a '72 Spit. This is a project car, not a runner. It will never be a concours car, my intention is to use this as a learning tool with my sons in much the same way that Tim Suddard of Classic Motorsports has been working with his son.

It's been 15+ years since I put the GT6 back on the road. Hopefully enough of the Spit will be familiar that it will all come back to me. I will not take delivery of the car until some Title issues are resolved. Getting the engine running will be the first order followed by floors. The balance of the cosmetic repairs will come slowly over the months and years.
