Well guys, had to have the carbs gone through all the way...cleaned and new points done at a shop. It was running great and I was going to stop near my house and fuel up... all is fine, the smith fuel gage said 1/4 tank. Then I get behind a road paint/lining truck going a blinding 5 mph.... all of a sudden, the car just shut off. I noticed the fuel pump sounding loud, yep out of gas... One wonders if the Spitfires of the Battle of Britain ran into the same problem facing the 109s. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
