I have never seen one of these, but I think I'm eyeing my next project....

Many people haven't seen them because it's a fairly rare car. What you're looking at is basically a rebodied TD. They aren't fast, but they are comfortable cruisers. I know of one with a Toyota engine (pretty fast) for sale but it isn't cheap. My guess on the market value of the car on eBay is about $25K.
 
Saw one at Gatlinburg in 06. It was a hard top with right hand drive. Quite a nice car. Excellent restoration and it drew a lot of attention. I certainly wouldn't mind having one in my collection. As Steve said, it's a fairly rare car.
 
Sounds like a Morgan. Hand made body.
 
If that car goes for a penny under $30K it'll be a bargain!!
 
Theres one local to me in southern ontario...black one, think its either got a hardtop or is a coupe?? This one appears to be in very nice original condition. Great looking cars
 
Amazing when you look at it how you get an insight as to things to come. The profile, from the side, of the front fenders are very close to the square bodied Spridgets ten years in the future; the rear fenders and tail light look much like my TR3 and not too far removed from the Bugeye. And they got the round wheel arches right!

I wouldn't rhapsodize too much on the Arnolt's design on the design of later British cars. The design of it did not come out of the MG factory or any British design agency. It was commissioned by a mid-western MG dealer by the name of S. H. Arnolt (often called Whacky Arnolt) and designed and built by the Italian firm of Bertone. It could be purchased as either a coupe or convertible. There were fewer than 500 built an d sold. It was indeed a beautiful car, but as for its influence on future British car designs, I have serious doubts. It is not even mentioned in Mike Allison's The Magic of MG. Another one off TD model to come out of a mid-west dealership, was the Inskip four seater TD.

That Bristol is gorgeous, one was up for auction recently that did not meet the reserve price despite hitting $50,000.

Over $30,000 and still has not met the reserve price. Three days left.
