An Australian company wanted a flight simulator for commercial light aircraft, as a sales tool. They contacted a company who wrote flight sims for the military. This company, quite understandably, started with their standard military sim, replaced the troops with Australian wildlife and tweaked the performance of the planes. All was good.
Then one day, the client company were demoing to a potential buyer when the "pilot" decided to buzz some kangaroos. He flew low at them, and they scattered around a hill quite convincingly. Then everybody watched in amazement as the kangaroos regrouped behind the hill, and blew the pilot out of the air with a surface to air missile.
