MGB NEEDED: Partial B post for early MK I MGB

Hello all!

I am soooooo close to paint! But today I spent a little more time fiddling with the fit of the left front fender, and finally succumbed to sliding the door back just a tad. In doing so, I needed to remove the striker catch post from the B post (it was shimmed too far out anyway), and discovered not rust but apparently stress cracked sheet metal that had been "repaired". More like glob welded and covered over.

I started making a piece to replace this, but it's going to take me forever to get it right and thought I'd cull the list for someone with a spare B in their yard. Like a dummy, I sold mine thinking there was nothing left on it to pick, now I need a piece of it.

Take a look at the photo - I circled the area I need, and I don't think it will be that tough to get it off. I would sawzall down the lip where the door seal clips on, and across the bottom, and then it should come off. I don't think it's welded to the rear fender, but I could be wrong.

If anyone has this piece they would want to sell, or better yet trade, I'd appreciate it! This need to be from a pull handle car. Thanks!
