Right here in Niceville Fla. my friend Larry put me on to Adam Marthis who ownes Twin Cities Transmission at 610 Elm Street, Niceville FL 32578 PH 850 729 6629 FAX 850 729 1529 EMAIL Brandy@tct.gccoxmail.com

I spoke with him at length this morning, seemed very knowledgable and when we both had a question went over in the corner of his office and pulled a Morris Minor tranny out so we could see, same tranny by the way except for one part to change the clutch lever to the left side.

He even has experiendce putting a Dutsun tranny in a Morris.

And the neat part he is right here.

Also commented that he would be pleased to work on trannys shipped to him, after all they only weigh 35 lbs.

So I did indeed learn something from the car show, the effort was well worth it.

His comment in the middle of our conversion was that he expected that my second gear shift rod was bent just a bit and he would not expect more than an hour or so to get it sorted out. I do have two other shift rods for second, so we will find a good one I expect.
