Need to find someone to do a detailing demo

The local Healey club (Houston) wants to do a demonstration on how to detail your car on June 11, and I am trying to find someone to run the class. Does anyone have any ideas on how to find an expert to help us with this. I really want to find someone who is up on the latest products and techniques.

ANY ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd start by going to any of the major car washes in town. They almost always have 1-2 guys, usually independent
contractors who give a cut to the establishment, who detail cars.

Tell them that they can solicit the class for business and see how much they'll charge to do a demo.

Then there are the Yellow Pages under Automotive, Detail Shops.

Sorry, I have been away for quite some time at car shows all over the country. If you can, get the current issue of Drive! Magazine, or go to Driveonline.com. They have just put together their current issue covering all car care products and manufacturers (us included).

As a note to all who may be interested. I am currently contacting a production company to help me compile my years of detailing knowledge and put it to a video DVD.So that I can pass on my tips of the trade and secrets unbknownst to all. I am putting this together also to introduce our products but will show you how to get the maximum results from products you have already purchased from other companies. Why waste the money when I can help you get the best results from what you already have.

If things go right, this should be a free video to all if I can sweing it. It will be a hand out DVD at the SEMA Showcome come November, but will let the Forum have first chance when we are finished with production.
