Through my work, they are dropping the current provider,
& are giving us choices as a replacement.
Any suggestions/ideas/experience with the companies?

Cigna Dental PPO

Cypress Dental PPO

Delta Dental PPO

I appeciate any help in this matter.

I have been retired for two years. During the last two years I was employed we had Cigna for dental. Employees did not get to choose. Other carriers we had over the years included Blue-Cross/Blue-Shield and MetLife. I did not find Cigna any better or worse than those providers.

I have always looked at what I would project to spend on dental vs. what I would spend on dental insurance (it is a little easier to predict, guesstimate couple cleanings and a cavity) and decide it is at best a wash.

Different story if your employer picks up some or all of the tab. If not, and if you can self insure, cover foreseeable costs, you should end up money ahead in the long run.
