need rollbar for bugeye

OK the other member of your family. He saw mine and wanted to add one to his BE. We talked yesteday and his BE is off to the paint shop. Guy locally has a complete rebuilt Front End Marc's going to look at I think tomorrow. The guy's also willing to replumb his brake lines which I recommended. Gotta be able to stop before he can go. We've been talking about the anemic stopping power of drum brakes on a BE and that definitely needs to be higher on the importance level than the 1275 and 5 speed installation.

Yes Jim!
I agree completely, stopping safely is higher on my list than more power!

Still considering rebuilding the existing front end one way or another - the A-arm set was $550 with the king pins and bushings only... no disks, calipers, back plates, cylinders, pads, so the disk install is getting pretty pricey with all new hardware. Advice?

Marc,

I'd call Kent and pick up the Front end off of his '75. That way you've got all of the parts and pieces you need. If new King Pings are needed you'll be able to tell up front by the 6 /12 o'clock test. Roll the dice for $100 for that Front End setup.
