Am getting ready to trailer my TR3B (so supposed to be post TS60000) to the auto body shop. The person doing the work has done TR3s before, a beautiful job, My Body Number is TSF/2229. I know my body is not the original, and a mash up. There are some questions I have about originality that I want for reference for the guy doing the work. Mine has the plinths front and back but there are anomolies. I would appreciate if anyone has detailed:
1. Picture of the Dashboard/front bulkhead, master cylinder pocket, firewall, esp the passenger side (mine has openings on both sides for the blanking plate, and was only offered as Left Hand drive). I understand the TR3B only had the opening on the driver side, the passenger side was solid sheet metal. This is listed in Piggott on p 150.
2. Pictures of the inner fenders. Mine are cockeyed and messed up. Moss Motors shows multiple numbers but no pictures (called them) as none in stock.
3. Pictures of the rear floor area behind the seats "incorpoating a flat platform helping me identify pre and post TS60001 trunk, depth of wheel well so I can verify it is the later one.
4. Picture of the battery box from the inside of the car. Mine looks like the top part has been bent and tucked in to the inside of the car.
Other suggestions?
Or if you live near Charlotte NC, have a TR3B and I can look at yours!
