i am looking for a rebuilt or rebuildable midget/spitfire 1500 engine, preferably a 76. price needs to be reasonable too

Anything else would be like racing a Honda!! Tom is the best, and he will get you whatever horsepower there is in one of them little thingey's!!

do you have any idea what his prices are like? all i am really looking for as far as mods to the block is the addition of cam bearings.
 
e-mail him!! Tell him I told you to call him, he is a real down-to-earth-no-BS sort of guy!! He will tell you your worst case senario!! I would trust him with an airplane engine that he had never seen before!! His shop is in Memphis, and they are a little slow right now, so maybe it will be a good deal!! Trust me, if Tom builds it it will be a good deal!! No matter how much it costs!! And don't take that to mean it will be expensive!!

I know Tom is around, I just don't think he has any 1500 engines, and if Tony doesn't have one I'll chase down the wrecked migetin the barn in louisville, if it is still there
 
Gary....where do you get off saying I don't like Canadians...heck, the only person on the BBS with an inferiority personality complex is you...take a look at theList to see the number of Canadians there...if I didn't like Canadiansthere wouldn't be any! &, I wouldn't be spending over a month this summer in your country...believe your anti-American vein is coming out...should I call Steven in to confirm that assessment?
