Could be. Anyway, he is now able to get there, but we could not for the life of us figure out what we did to cause it to start working. Then, we spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to change a link on his page, build with FRONT PAGE, so that it would link to a better guestbook I installed foir him instead of the guestbook Front Page installed. Spent about 30 minutes but could not figure out this simple task of changing a hyperlink. When I looked at the HTML Code, it appears that it ties all the links to some master navigation code which I could not make heads or tails of. Oh well, gotta go to work now.

In your signature, you need to link to the complete URL of your site: https://www part as well. If you leav off the https:// www parts it thinks you are linking to a page on THIS web site. (Try clicking the link in your sig and you'll see what I mean). Fix it by editing your sig so that the link is the complete URL.

That's why I dislike FP and M$. They think it's "My way or the highway" with nearly ALL their stuff.

nice site .. i'm bulding one myself and this is a good model to follow.

Thanks Basil - a little more tweaking and I'm happy /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Glad you figured out how to change the link. Well, at least we now know that I can host websites that are published with FP! Thanks for being the gunea pig!

Basil (still stuck at work)

Isn't that a slick guestbook? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
