Need help with bodywork

I am looking for someone with bodywork knowledge to help me fix the body on my 1962 Sprite. I have talked to everyone I know and tried every resource that I could think of and still can't find anyone. I have a wire welder and grinder/metal saw. I hoped to do some if not most of the work myself with the guideance of a experianced person. I can't pay the person with money but I am will be willing to help that person out in the future with mechanics on their car or anything else I am able to do. I am located in the Janesville, Wisconsin area. Is there anyone in this area that knows how to do bodywork?

I'm certainly no expert, but I too a course at a local vo-tech. You might check for same in your area. Probably cost a few bucks, but will payoff in the long run.

Good Luck,
Basil

Hi Jaime,

I am currently getting ready to do body work and paint on my 1974 MGB. I have been researching the subject about 6 months and will be doing my own work. You may want to do the same? I can post a couple of links here to get you started..

If you can buy a few tools and do the research, and find a couple of old body panels to practice, you may be able to do it yourself if that's what you want.

Hope this helps!
