Need BJ7 Seat Belt Bracket Location

The BJ7 (and I think the BJ8 as well) has two holes drilled for the outboard seat belt bracket (the one with the removable mounting pin). I've done such a great job insulating the top and bottom of my floorboards, I can't find the holes now that it's time to mount the bracket. Can anyone give me some measurements from the inside sill and rear bulkhead so I can start dousing for the holes?

Thanks in advance

Hi Rick,

The document on the Healey6 web site addresses the 3000 4-seater. I roughly checked the measurements against my BJ8 P1 (exactly as your BJ7) and they seemed to match my anchors locations. The measurements in the article should get you close enough to find your exact locations with a needle probe.

Thanks for sticking with me, Ray. I found my error. I was thinking the "B" measurement was taken from the rear bulkhead which would have put the bracket inside the rear side panel. On closer look, I figured the datum point for the B measurement was the rear door shut face. Once I measured from there, had no trouble finding them.

Thanks again, Ray and also a big thanks to John Sims for cataloging all that useful Healey info for us.
