Does anyone know the correct tacs I need to attach the rubber strip on the cowl that the hood rests on? Black or silver, round head or flat head and also spacing. Mine had black flat head carpet tacs which I beleive are not correct.

Hard to see in this photo but I used tiny brass nails with round heads.

Mine are black flathead tacks not unlike upholstery tacks... it was rebuilt in '69 so don't know if they are factory correct (and could care less)!
