would anyone be willing to trace an outline of the footprint of your transmission cover. i am replacing some rusted out ares on mine and want to have the lines "correct".

I will send a little $$ your way to cover trouble and postage.
Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim,
See if the attached drawing will help. The dimensions are from my BN2.

If I was a betting man, I would guess that second cover is pretty close to and original BN2 cover. The only difference would be the back end of the cover would need to be shortened, easily done with a cutter.

Bummer, /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif

I received that gearbox cover some time ago (takes some time for parcels to go overseas these days. The cover I received is scrap! Someone cut 2" away on the sides and braced some sheetmetal to it. All this was covered nicely by underseal.
Now the gearbox cover is too low to cover the transmission /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif . The pictures at e-bay were so nicely taken that this was not obvious. I will take to my welder, maybe he can recreate the flanges with the help of the drawing above.

Regards

Thomas
